There’s an old proverb that claims that the pen is mightier than the sword. At no other time in history has this been more true than in our present information age. Today, success is gained and measured by one’s ability to engage with and share ideas. Adam has been writing for as long as he can remember; from poetry in middle school to philosophical essays in his undergraduate days to blogs, copy, and other material today. He has recently completed work on his novella, which he submitted as his thesis project for his Master’s Degree in English Literature (Creative Writing track) to complement his certification in Professional Editing.
Adam has also done extensive travelling and teaching, meeting all kinds of people along the way. He has taught, coached and edited for hundreds of non-native English users for seventeen years while living in four different countries, and passing through over twenty more. He now specializes in test preparation coaching (IELTS, TOEFL, SAT, ACT, GRE, GMAT, CELPIP, TOEIC), with a particular focus on the active skills—the writing and speaking sections (where applicable). As an editor and writer himself, he has a broad vocabulary, a firm grasp of grammar and syntax, and a “feel” for style. While he calls Toronto, Canada home, Adam still loves to meet different people, both online and in the classroom/office. He also loves to read and write, to cook, and even more so, to eat; he works out at the local gym, and skis on cold winter Sundays; Weekends are spent as quality time with friends and family.
